Mark Brooks

Mark Brooks is one of New Orleans most talented and sought after bassists and vocalists. Mark attended Southern University in Baton Rouge where he pursued a music degree along with two of his closet friends, Donald Harrison and Branford Marsalis, who as well moved on to further their professional careers. Mark has toured and played with an array of artists. Just to name a few – Mark has worked with Dr John, The Neville Brothers, Fats Domino, Henry Butler, Charles and Aaron Neville’s Ensemble, Lou Rawls, David “Fathead” Newman, Preservation Hall Jazz Band and The Maryland Jazz Band Of Germany. Mark can also be seen playing at Preservation Hall and Palm Court Jazz café.
