Heather Pierson is a nationally touring pianist, singer-songwriter, and performer. From jazz to blues to folk, Heather's recording and performance career began when she was just 14 years old. She first fell in love with the music of New Orleans as a young child, listening to her father playing along on his clarinet with his beloved Pete Fountain records, and then fell in love with the city when she first visited in 2010. Heather began as a NOTJC camper in 2012, returning every year since - first as a camper, then as a volunteer, and now as a member of the faculty, sharing her passion and growing knowledge and skills with others.
