Scholarships

Scholarships are available to high school and college musicians. Applications will be reviewed for musical proficiency, interest in early jazz, and recommendations from other musical sources, such as band teachers. Scholarships cover tuition and breakfast and lunch throughout the week. Travel, if living outside New Orleans, must be provided by the student. Housing is to be determined on an individual basis. Scholarship students should be prepared to cover a portion of housing costs. This area fluctuates the most depending on grants and funds raised as part of our scholarship program.

The New Orleans Trad Jazz Camp could not exist without the considerable generousity of its Individual Supporters and Corporate Sponsors. Your kind donations make it possible for us to include individuals who otherwise could not afford to attend. These people help keep New Orleans traditional jazz music alive worldwide.
